Banner campaign and commemorative events
to mark the 75th anniversary in Erfurt, Nordhausen, and Weimar

From Thursday, 9 April 2020, the banners and posters displayed on prominent public buildings and throughout the streets of Erfurt, Nordhausen, and Weimar will remind us of the importance of the liberation days of Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora.

Echoing Article 1 of the 1948 “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” they focus on the key lesson and answer to crimes perpetrated by National Socialism:

All Human Beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
